Updates on the generation of the GnE generation software (GeNiE) have begun. As you can see it has a natty logo on the main link bar and you can keep up with it's development.
May 14th 2004: Season 2 announced
Crikey-o-blimey it's been a long time since that paradox hasn't it? Well GnE is coming back ,but I'm rebuilding it from the ground up. When I originally made the characters I put them together as I went along, they were designed for couch gags. When the plots started getting more and more action I realised that I would need to really pull my finger out and pretty much edit everything by hand every time I wanted to even change the poses. As I said before, back in the dark recesses of the middle of the first year of this comic, there is new rendering software, but if I'm going to make it work, I'm going to need to put some software of my own in place.
Therefore, with my uni deadlines now truly dead, I am going to begin work on a little labour saving tool for dealing with multiple-articulated tree based structures. This should cut the production time of GnE in half, nay a quarter, nay a mere eigth of what it once was.
Trouble is, it's gonna take me a few months to write it and iron the bugs out. Current scedule is for a relaunch at the end of August. Until then I will be posting teaser images of the new software, which I may even make available to my fans for producing thier own 3D comics!
